A Fun Birthday and Hanging Out With Old Friends

I had to work on my birthday, but before I left, Clarissa had made me a cake and she and Carl gave me some lovely earrings.  Sam and Karen gave me some yummy chocolate covered cranberries from Nantucket and a beautiful glassblown pumpkin from a local artist that lives in Marlborough.

While at work my travel agency delivered me a pizza! How cool is that?! And sweet Sholana made me a birthday card and had everyone sign it xoxoxo.

I got the COOLEST SWEATSHIRT HOODIE EVERRRRR from the kids--all decorated by the grandchildren and Tasha and Hillary---

And then I got this HILARIOUS card from Alyssa:

I had the opportunity while back home in N.H. to reconnect with some childhood friends. I spent a fun evening with Maryann Parker May; we had dinner at The Pub, walked around Keene and saw Captain Fantastic at the Colonial Theatre together.

I also got together with some high school classmates; we're planning our 40th class reunion for next fall!

My dear friend Larry Evans and his husband Kevin Gilman were in town from Las Vegas visiting Kevin's family (I knew Kevin in the LDS Keene Ward, and I knew Larry at BYU....and they ended up together---how crazy is that???).  We had a lovely breakfast at Audrey's Cafe along Rt. 101.
