Day 1/2: Matamata: Villa Walton

We arrived around 6 in the evening to a beautiful B&B northwest of Matamata:

It was out in the country and we just breathed in huge sighs of relaxation and tranquility. I took tons of pictures of the landscaping and house interior because I found it all so charming!

The hydrangeas were everywhere! Growing wild even!

On the porch by our bedroom entrance:

Charming...
...charming...
...the view from lying on our bed....

The moonlight was shining through our bedroom doors...

From the lounge out the back window...

The "Breakfast" part of "Bed and Breakfast"!! The kitchen/dining area was beautiful!

Diane (the owner) was amazing! She chatted with us while we were eating our cereal/yogurt, and we didn't even notice that she was preparing these beautiful plates for us at the time! What a chef! And what a great start to a really fun day!
